Dr Neli Slavova-Azmanova

Dr Neli Slavova-Azmanova trained in medicine in Bulgaria and obtained a PhD degree in microbiology jointly from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Institute Pasteur, Paris, France. After relocating to Australia, she worked at the University of Western Australia on numerous projects improving care and outcomes for people with cancer, and also taught medical students.

Neli worked at various hospitals across Perth before moving into general practice. She is currently undertaking training towards Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Neli prides herself in her caring approach and believes in value-based holistic care to person’s health. Neli likes all aspects of general practice, with specific interest in preventative care, chronic disease management, health assessment, mental health, and child health.
