Ms Shannon Tassell

Shannon grew up in the northern suburbs of Perth and completed her nursing studies at Curtin University. She spent time in country Western Australia before commencing studies in critical care. Since moving back to WA in 2000  and has worked in different settings until deciding community was her passion. 

Shannon graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in 2009. She has also undertaken additional training in cervical screening, menopause, contraception, Implanon insertion and removal. She also has a special interest in advance health planning and end of life discussion.

Shannon is a HIV S100 community prescriber.

When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her young family.
